What is a Legacy Project?

At Chronicle Code we believe purpose evolves through our lifetimes and beyond. A unique legacy project is the embodiment of your human experience and a means to reflect, to inspire, and maintain connection across generations. By taking advantage of our platform you will begin a journey of self-discovery, with a chance to set intention for your future self and create a personal "memory bank". They are an opportunity to celebrate engagements, anniversaries, or the birth of a child, as well as honor the transition of a spouse, parent, or grandparent, bringing you back to a moment in time where the experience does not fade.

A legacy project begins at any age by recording conversation topics that express your personality, preserve memories, and makes them easily accessible. It can also be done for memorialization purposes, where a biography with pictures and videos will capture the essence of a loved one. Once complete, your stories can be accessed in a variety of ways through QR codes, by placing them in a location that holds meaning in your life for friends and family to visit, on a monument or family heirloom, or a convenient location in your home.

How it Works

Stories

Stories are designed to be completed at any age. The standard process includes conversation topics for independent stories or the Chronicle Challenge, which are prepared ahead of time, then recorded and edited by our team. Content is uploaded to a dedicated webpage and accessed via QR code in any location.

An independent story can be done for an event of your choice, ranging from a fertility journey, birth of a child, or engagement, to a medical diagnosis, or grief/loss. When you tell your love story it can be applied at your wedding venue or in the park where you first met; when sharing your ancestry, QR codes can be scanned by visiting multiple places for a family heritage trip. It is also an excellent way to commemorate veterans by documenting their service and sharing it through military Challenge Coins.

The Chronicle Challenge can be done as an individual, couple, or family, where you can create an adventure package that tells a story. Complete the challenge for each month of a meaningful year, anniversaries (5, 10, 15 years), or a selection of "firsts" (first date, family vacation, etc.)

Whether your goal is to give a meaningful gift or create a sense of adventure, we are here to help you immerse your friends, spouse, children, or grandchildren in a story that is now timeless.

Memories

A QR code can be applied to headstones, monuments, military Challenge Coins, or family heirlooms that will provide access to a dedicated webpage. With the help of a representative, you will be able to create a custom bio with pictures, videos, and additional content to represent a life and legacy. As families grow and stories are shared, annual edits can be used to keep information and family trees up to date. Three packages are available based on storage space and edits completed by Chronicle Code, QR code creation is included. Each option has an example based on storage space, but your preferred combination of pictures and videos can be added up to the maximum storage for a given package.

1. Premium: storage equivalent of 10 minutes of video and 100 pictures, 12 annual edits

2. Standard: up to 5 minutes of video and 50 pictures, 8 annual edits

3. Basic: up to 3 minutes of video and 25 pictures, 4 annual edits
